When you have an Authentic ‘Pandora’ Bracelet, do you need Authentic Pandora Charms or will charms from other brands fit onto the pandora bracelet?

I bought a Pandora bracelet w/ 1 bead and now i don’t want it?

I was told i can’t return it, (store credit only)… I don’t want to keep buying beads for the bracelet, they are too expensive. What can i do? I paid $35 for the lobster clasp bracelet and the bead was $40… Now what am i supposed to do?
