Help please: Discolouration of bracelet?

I bought my girlfriend a Pandora bracelet for her birthday. She started wearing it a lot and it has started to become discoloured in an odd red colour. It can’t be rust because the jewellery is sterling silver,so what could the problem be??
It hasn’t come into contact with water and she doesn’t sleep with it on either.
Help please???

this is just tarnish as silver tarnishes very easily, if you visit a jeweller you’ll be able to purchase a silver cleaning cloth, this should clean the tarnish and not damage the bracelet in any way, ask the jeweller to be certain though.
